Mount Bonnell holds Covert Park, a wonderful place where it is possible to take in a vista which includes a nearly panoramic view of Austin and the Colorado River valley. It is one of the best places in Austin to watch the sun set.

One of Austin's "signature" landmarks is the suspension bridge which provides Loop 360 a means to cross the Colorado River. Luckily, there is an easily accessable cliff which can provide some of the most beautiful views of the bridge and the river.
